My medium spicy cabbage kimchee is handmade using my parents' recipe that they brought with them from South Korea. I use the freshest napa cabbage prepared with my mom and dad's secret mixture of hot pepper flake, garlic, green onion, just the right amount of salt and ginger, and a pinch of sugar to help the fermentation process.
My kimchee is totally vegan; I do not use fish sauce or tiny shrimp… did I mention it's awesome?

I was so tired of trying different brand kimchi trying to find one that actually taste good and is spicy enough. No more wasting money! I’m so glad I found out abt Kimchee Girl I’m glad to say…it was the best kimchi! And VEGAN!? YESS! And Although her’s cost more then others, the Price is worth it for the Quality! If you are within one day transit time of Harrisburg PA, your order will ship Monday thru Thursday. Orders received after 4:00 PM EST on Thursday will ship the following Monday.
Kimchee orders outside of the one day transit time will ship on Mondays and Tuesdays. Why? This is to guarantee the freshest delivery. So if you order kimchee on Wednesday thru Sunday, your order will ship the following Monday. Orders received after 4:00 PM EST on Tuesday will ship the following Monday.

Kimchee Girl needs to stay cool to slow the fermentation process, so we pack our kimchee with cooler packs. Shipping costs are a little pricey, but we're shipping via UPS or USPS Priority Mail. This will allow your kimchee to arrive fresh from our refrigerator to yours.
You may notice that your kimchee fizzes or overflows when you open the jar. That’s normal! The kimchee continues to ferment during shipping. The byproduct of fermentation is carbon dioxide which causes the jar to fill up with pressure. No worries... your kimchee is alive with good bacteria, which is excellent for gut health. We ship Kimchee Girl with ice packs to slow the fermentation process, but your kimchee is still good even if the ice packs are no longer cold.

Sooo... if you open your kimchee and it overflows or fizzes because the package was under pressure, it's normal. As your kimchee ferments, the byproduct is carbon dioxide. This results in pressure building up inside the package. No worries... your kimchee is alive with good bacteriawhich is great for gut health.
