Welcome to Kimchee Girl, LLC! We’re a proudly woman-owned, Korean-owned business located in beautiful Central Pennsylvania, specializing in authentic vegan Korean kimchee. Our kimchee is handcrafted in a Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture-approved commercial facility with care, tradition, and the freshest ingredients.

I’m Joyce Park Williams, the founder of Kimchee Girl. Yes, that’s me in the photo—standing in our garden as a young girl. My roots in Korean food run deep. My parents were farmers in the mountains of Seoul, South Korea, and after legally immigrating to the United States, they continued to grow and harvest their own food. Alongside my four siblings, I was raised working in our backyard garden, learning firsthand the importance of hard work and self-reliance.

Kimchee has always been a staple in our home, just as it is in most Korean households. I grew up watching my parents carefully prepare napa cabbage, ginger, garlic, Korean hot pepper, and other essential ingredients—turning fresh produce into delicious, probiotic-rich kimchee. They taught me that making kimchee is more than just a recipe—it’s a labor of love, a tradition that requires patience, dedication, and respect for the process.

At Kimchee Girl, I stay true to those values. I source our ingredients locally whenever possible and keep our kimchee all-natural. You’ll recognize every ingredient on our label—simple, wholesome, and delicious. Plus, kimchee isn’t just flavorful—it’s packed with live probiotics and high levels of vitamins A, B, and C, along with antioxidants that support a healthy lifestyle.
